Most kids see Navi as a “subject” you learn in school.
In an “outdoor classroom” (without the boring!), each “explorer” discovers what it was actually like to live in the times of the Navi. Exploring the Land of Israel, hiking its beautiful terrain and visiting its holy sites creates a real association with the places and events mentioned in Tanach.
When the idea of becoming a guide first came up, I thought “But, tour guide? For a mother? How would that work with kids at home?” Luckily, my husband saw it differently – and he was right!
